Under the coordination of the WHO Emergency Medical Teams Secretariat, highly experienced volunteer COVID-19 Rehabilitation Specialists are currently sought to enhance capacity in managing the COVID-19 pandemic in the WHO African Region. Selected applicants will be included in a bank of candidates that may be contacted to provide technical support, guidance, on-the-job training and monitoring of systems and procedures.
To be considered as a candidate, occupational therapists must meet the following essential criteria:
・At least 5 years post graduate experience
・Experience and understanding of working in low or middle income setting
・Current license to practice or professional registration in home country
・Experience in a training or education role
・Experience of working in COVID-19 rehabilitation in your home country or internationally
